In-Person Programs on Hiatus
Glenbow is currently completing a comprehensive building renovation and program revitalization. This work is transforming the learning experiences and opportunities the museum will offer in the future. While this work is completed, Glenbow’s facilitated learning programs are paused. In-person school programs will resume when the museum reopens.

Digital Learning Activities
Art-Based Classroom Activities
While Glenbow is closed, our education team has created this series of art-based classroom activities to download. These resources, which can be used digitally or printed, focus on artworks from Glenbow’s collection and invite students to explore different perspectives and ideas. New activities and artworks are added throughout the year.
New & Revitalized Programs
Glenbow is developing a suite of new programming to support teachers and educators in delivering exceptional learning experiences aligned with school curricula. Many new programs are also aligned with STEAM learning outcomes.
New and revitalized school programs are thoughtfully designed to incorporate engaging activities in line with the current and emerging Alberta curriculum. Taking an inquiry-based approach, our accessible and inclusive programs connect with Glenbow’s extensive collections of art, objects, and belongings.
Booking for in-person and outreach school programs will begin following reopening in Glenbow’s revitalized home, JR Shaw Place. School programs will then launch the following semester or season.
